"טוטם אופת העוגות – אמא שלי"

במרכז הפסל ניצב המערוך הישן  – זה שליווה את אמי מאז 1947,
 רידד אינספור עוגות, מאפים, ורגעים של מתיקות.

הפסל פשוט יחסית לסדרת הטוטמים, כמעט שקט, אך נושא בתוכו את פעימות הלב של בית,
את ריח העוגות שיצאו זה הרגע מהתנור, ואת החיבוק שלא מתיישן.

אין כאן סמלים גבוהים או רוחניים, רק אהבה פשוטה 
אהבה שנטחנה, נילושה, ונשמרה בעץ.

Curator’s Note

“Totem of the Cake Maker – My Mother”

At the center of the sculpture stands the old rolling pin —
the one that served my mother since 1947,
rolling out countless cakes, pastries, and moments of sweetness.

The sculpture is modest compared to the other totems — almost silent —
yet it carries within it the heartbeat of home,
the scent of cakes just out of the oven,
and an embrace that never fades.

There are no lofty or spiritual symbols here,
only simple love —
love that was ground, kneaded, and preserved in wood.
